The Spis take
A cheerfully touristy North-Norwegian fishing-hut theme restaurant on the Aker Brygge waterfront, done up like the inside of an old rorbu with nets and timber. The draw is the traditional stuff you rarely see on Oslo menus — bacalao, cured cod, reindeer steak and whale — served in a warm, rustic room. It leans heavily into the Lofoten fantasy and prices accordingly, but for visitors wanting a taste of classic coastal Norway it delivers exactly what it promises.
