Sentralen is a cultural house in Kvadraturen, in the old Christiania Sparebank building, and its ground-floor eating spaces are a genuinely nice reason to go even if you're not there for a talk or a gig. The brasserie-style kitchen leans continental and seasonal with sharing plates and mostly local produce (the food side has drawn White Guide attention via the Lava/Even Ramsvik crowd), and there's a big, buzzy café-canteen feel by day. It's a solid, design-forward central pick — just know the offer shifts with events, so it's more 'reliable good' than destination cooking.
