A cozy, no-frills neighborhood pub on St. Hanshaugen (Dalsbergstien 4), the kind of unpretentious local where the beer is cheap, the darts are free, and nobody's trying to impress anyone. It opens mid-afternoon daily and trades on friendly service and a laid-back regulars' atmosphere rather than any culinary ambition. Go for a relaxed, affordable pint, not for the food.
