The Solli plass branch of Sumo, a Norwegian Asian-fusion chain built around sushi plus hot wok and bao dishes in a lively, colourful room. It's a dependable crowd-pleaser for a group dinner rather than a purist's sushi bar; the fish is generally fresh and the menu broad, though service can be hit-or-miss and prices are firmly mid-range for Oslo. Good fun with friends, not a special-occasion destination.
