A downtown Oslo institution serving since 1958, and gloriously frozen in time — original 50s interior, a working Wurlitzer jukebox and a diverse, unpretentious regular crowd. It's a place for a coffee, a cold beer or a big plate of fried potatoes and bacon, with just enough grit to keep the trendy set away. If you love a genuine old-school bar with real history, this is one of the city's best, and unmissable for the nostalgia alone.
