A big, four-floor Scottish-themed pub on Karl Johan that's been an Oslo nightlife fixture since 1974, trading in whisky, worldwide beers, big-screen sport, live music and late-night dancing. It's the kind of loud, all-things-to-all-people place that works best in a group and after dark; the gastropub food is there mainly to soak up the drinks. Note it lost its old lease and relocated a few hundred metres up Karl Johan in 2023, but it's very much still going. Come for the sport, the whisky wall and the party, not for a quiet meal.
