Uglebo

The Spis take

Uglebo is a cozy student pub tucked in the basement of Sophus Bugges hus on UiO's Blindern campus — one of the browner, more characterful of the campus bars, with cheap beer, swing on the stereo and an easy, festive mood. It's volunteer-run and student-priced, so it's a great, affordable hang if you're on campus; outsiders sometimes find these UiO cellars a touch clubby, but the welcome is generally warm. Not a general-public destination, but lovely for what it is.
