The Spis take

The third outpost of Francesco Solimeo's Vesuvio pizzeria mini-chain, this one planted on Aker Brygge for the fjord view and the sunny terrace. The pull is Neapolitan pizza plus a few coastal Italian plates (vongole, seafood risotto), and on a warm evening the waterfront seat does a lot of the work. Just calibrate expectations: it sits in prime tourist real estate, and Aftenposten's critic came away with 'mediocre food and lazy service' - come for the location and a decent margherita more than a culinary pilgrimage.
